This is the first of a 12 month programme of MI meetings. The format is a simple one. A theme each month will be offered. A short introduction followed by discussion and questions and answers. No experience needed.

Today physical books compete with ebooks, audio books, podcasts and other media; self-publishing, crowdfunding and partnership publishing are realistic alternatives to conventional publishing; print on demand has added new distribution options to the publishing landscape; and Amazon and its digital competitors have transformed book retailing. It’s a brave new entrepreneurial world of new opportunities, new complexity and new potential pitfalls…
Charlie Watson is the founder and director of Singular Publishing and has worked as a writer, magazine editor, commissioning editor, editorial director, and publisher. He has an MA in creative writing and is a published author.
