We have recently entered into a new and exciting partnership with the Maddermarket Theatre involving the renovation of an under-used building called the Workshop, located next door to our new offices on St John’s Alley in Norwich.
The refurbished space, owned by the Maddermarket Theatre Trust, will provide a new, vibrant, accessible, warm and welcoming community space which MensCraft will use to support more men and their families and offer new creative, collaborative opportunities with the Theatre.
The renovation has been made possible by a £95,000 grant from Norfolk County Council’s Norfolk Social Infrastructure Fund. Set up in 2020, the Fund has awarded nearly £3 million through over 50 grants to community projects and initiatives that benefit the residents of Norfolk. This grant is part of the Council’s commitment to voluntary and community organisations. It helps strengthen local communities by providing support for local buildings and facilities.
