We are proud to have been awarded a significant contract by the Integrated Care Board (health) and managed by Norfolk County Council Public Health to continue to support men at the edge of crisis and disclosing suicidal thoughts.

The contract, known as the Contact Service, lasts until 2028 with potential extension until 2030 and delivers against Public Health and the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention priorities and, ultimately, reduce deaths by suicide in Norfolk to as close to zero as possible. We will develop our approach to promote positive mental health outcomes through one-on-one, group and partnership working while providing a range of positive activities across Norfolk and Waveney.

MensCraft Development Manager, Tim Allard: “We’re grateful to Norfolk County Council for the selecting our tender to consolidate and enhance our provision of this service for the coming years. Since 2020, over 1200 men have been referred to our service and we’re aware of the acute need to reach and support men otherwise facing barriers to the right services. Our excellent frontline team manage a complex caseload of clients and are well positioned to continue this work and constructively contribute to the Integrated Care System and Adult Mental Health Transformation programme and new Five Year Joint Forward Plan.”
