Pit Stop Sound Connections is an informal weekly meet-up for men to select, play and discuss music in a friendly, supportive and relaxed setting. We pick a theme to follow every week and bring two to three songs along on the day which we will share with the group, on our system, so long as they are available on Spotify or YouTube. Everyone gets an opportunity to play and introduce at least one song, sometimes two.
Listening to music is a way of expressing our thoughts and feelings. It’s also possible to enhance or alter the way we are feeling. Sharing these moments together can connect us, strengthening social bonds and our links to empathy.
This week we selected the following tracks from one of two categories; ‘songs or artists beginning with the letter E’ or ‘Guilty Pleasures’:
East side saint Louis toodle-oo – Duke Ellington
Easy – The Commodores
