Bit of a ‘tongue-in-cheek’ image, this one. An angel holding its hands to its’ ears whilst, in the opposite ‘spandrel’, another angel is playing the bagpipes (in Acle Church, east Norfolk)

Pit Stop Sound Connections is an informal weekly meet up for men to select, play and discuss music in a friendly, supportive and relaxed setting. We pick a theme to follow every week and bring 3 songs along on the day. They are chosen either from a music streaming service or YouTube and played through a Bluetooth speaker. Everyone gets an opportunity to play and introduce at least one song, sometimes 2.

Listening to music is a way of expressing our thoughts and feelings. It’s also possible to enhance or alter the way we are feeling. Sharing these moments together can connect us, strengthening social bonds and our links to empathy.

This is an excerpt from our most recent session at the Norwich Pit Stop and we hope you enjoy it.

This week we selected songs or artists beginning with the letter ‘C’.
