We’re delighted that Julia Hetherton, Executive Head Chef at the Assembly House in Norwich, successfully completed her two-marathons-in-a-day challenge in November, accompanied by her brother-in-law, Carl.

Julia’s fantastic achievement raised over £1,200 and we’re grateful for her donating £300 of this to MensCraft’s suicide prevention work. Local charities Empathy and the Norwich Men’s Shed were also recipients of these funds.

Speaking with MensCraft, Julia reflected on her post-marathons reception at the Assembly House: ‘it was such an amazing and special day. It was heart-warming how many people came and are now saying they know where to get help.’

Congratulations to Julia on a truly phenomenal endeavour and her brilliant work highlighting sources and resources of support for men at the edge of crisis.
