Fire Lodges are an extension of – or a way into – Manifest East, an annual men’s camp which has been running for many years in woodland in south Cambridgeshire. As the name suggests, the focus is on men gathering together around a fire: outside around an open fire when the weather permits, or inside a cabin around a wood-burning stove when it doesn’t. They are open to any man who comes with the intention to deepen his connection with himself, with other men and to nature, and to speak and listen with honesty, integrity, and an open heart and mind.
A Lodge programme typically includes a check-in (an opportunity for each of us to say how we are), a shared lunch, council (an opportunity for anyone who wants to to give voice to their thoughts or feelings), and one or two other activities which will vary from month to month, and a closing check-out.
- Dates: First Sunday of the month from November 2026 to April 2027
- Time: Arrive from 10.30am ready to start at 11am sharp; finish around 4pm.
- Location: The Field, Tuttington – just off the A140 near Aylsham. Directions are sent out to you once you have booked your place.
