Fundraise for us

MensCraft is doing truly vital work, and I’m so proud to play a part in supporting them. I’m even more grateful to everyone who supported me whether that was by booking a haircut, donating, buying raffle tickets or cakes at our salon and SGPT gym bake sale. Together, we raised over £2,750 this year, and I can’t wait to push that even higher next year.

Why your support matters

When men feel supported, confident and connected, amazing things happen – for them and the people around them. Your fundraising helps us create spaces where men can find purpose, strengthen their social connections and improve their wellbeing. Every pound you raise makes more of this possible.

Community and support

Across Norfolk and Waveney, men are working hard to build fulfilling, confident and healthy lives. Many benefit from a little extra support: someone to listen, a group to belong to, or practical tools and techniques to help them navigate big life changes. With your help, we give men the space, encouragement and opportunities they need to feel braver, more connected and more in control of their lives.

What MensCraft does

MensCraft focuses on building confidence, resilience and healthy relationships. Our offer of support and enrichment opportunities help men develop healthy behaviours, connect with others and make positive choices for themselves, their families and communities.

What your support makes possible

Your fundraising enables us to:
  • Give men the support they need, whatever their circumstances
  • Keep our groups, courses and therapy accessible to everyone
  • Bring skilled therapists, facilitators and practitioners into our programmes
  • Run welcoming, inclusive activities in community spaces across the region
  • Provide tools, resources and experiences that help men navigate life’s complexities
  • Reach more men who want to make positive changes in their lives

Real impact in our community

Edd Hammond and Gary Shipp’s “Tour de Norfolk”

In September 2025, Edd and Gary raised £1,500 for MensCraft through a cycling challenge that saw them cover almost 200 miles over a weekend. Dubbed the “Tour de Norfolk” in honour of a well-known and slightly hillier cycle race in mainland Europe, their ride took them past all the Masonic lodge locations in Norfolk.

It was a fitting challenge: unlike most Masonic lodges, the Norfolk Farmers’ Lodge is a “travelling” lodge without a permanent base. The ride reflected Edd and Gary’s movement between lodges for their Masonic practice, and their commitment to philanthropy.

The Running Hunks present their cheque for £8,000 to MensCraft

The Running Hunks charity ball at Carrow Road

The Running Hunks are a Norwich-based men’s fitness group which recognises the importance of good mental health. They meet twice a week for an early morning 5-10k run, followed by a dip in the river. The group has grown to around 30 regular members who turn up in all weathers to exercise and talk together, and they meet regularly for social events and even trips abroad.

In June 2025, the Hunks held a charity ball at Carrow Road in aid of MensCraft, raising a whopping £8,000 which they asked us to split between our support for boys and young men and our new therapeutic service.

A.K.A. Darts charity day

Kerry runs A.K.A. Darts, suppliers of darts equipment and accessories to Norfolk youth and senior teams and others. She is also heavily involved in organising the Monday Independent Darts League which attracts players of all ages and abilities.

In December 2025, Kerry generously held one of her regular charity days with all fees donated to MensCraft.
