I’m a local lad from Sprowston who spent years moving around the country—studying, working, and sometimes unemployed—before settling in South London, where my partner and I raised our family. As life grew busier, I craved a quieter pace and decided to come home.
After two decades working as a project coordinator with various post production houses, I found myself feeling burnt out and hollow. Joining MensCraft as a member, then volunteer, and now part of the team has given me fresh purpose and a more positive direction.
I left behind substance misuse to become a more balanced person, learning to listen deeply and support others in meaningful ways. I’m currently training to be a counsellor, aiming to blend practical help with compassionate understanding.
Outside work, I love dissecting films to explore themes and contexts, listening to loud, pounding electronic music, and challenging my anxiety to return to clubs and enjoy the things I love. I also cherish simple pleasures like long walks with my wife and quality family time—reminders of what truly matters in life.
