I have worked for MensCraft for over 5 years now, ever since we became a charity. In that time, I have supported in excess of 500 men, one-to-one, who are experiencing suicidal thoughts and hopelessness.
I am still passionate about the work I do, as well as all the essential support and activities that MensCraft provide as a charity. I relish the chance to meet new people, feeling honoured to be given the opportunity to hear all of their unique stories; while also helping them to find new hope and new light in what can feel like a pit of despair and darkness.
I have previously worked for several government departments, including the DWP and Norfolk County Council; and charity projects, including being a debts and benefits advisor for DIAL.
I have a background in writing and performing comedy, which is why I also facilitate the MensLaugh Stand-up Comedy Course, supporting men to improve wellbeing, gain confidence and “find their funny”.
I am a husband and father, and was diagnosed with ADHD in 2025.
My hope for the future is that men and boys will increasingly champion a more complete form of masculinity. One of confidence, assertiveness and empowerment through emotional strength and resilience.
