As part of Norfolk’s Suicide Reduction Strategy the post holder will be responsible for supporting men 18+ who are experiencing a sense of hopelessness leading to suicide ideation.

The roles will provide assertive outreach and support to individuals at the edge of crisis. The role is one of a service team covering Norfolk and Waveney.

The role includes identifying and implementing ways to enable individuals to overcome barriers and ultimately to exit patterns of suicide ideation, to engage in meaningful activities and build social connections.

The Prevention & Positive Activities Coordinators use a casework management approach.
