We are now recruiting participants for the second run of this nature immersion programme. This is a 12 week programme for a group of up to 8 men, offered in partnership between MensCraft and The Nurture Project
It offers men chance to:-
- Take time to be in nature
- Explore and discover the woodland environment
- Undertake a practical woodland improvement project
- Provide opportunities to learn some ancient woodcraft skills such as fire lighting, whittling, bender making
- Have time to sit around an open fire for a chat, tell stories and drink tea
When will the group happen?
The next programme will start later in the year. Dates to be confirmed.
Where will the group happen?
This programme currently takes place near Fakenham in North Norfolk. We will endeavour to ensure that access the venue is not a barrier to participation.
We have a bursary fund to support people without their own transport to get to the venue and we will do whatever we can to enable anyone who wishes to take part from anywhere in the county to be able to do so. Please talk to Andy about your travel requirements as early as possible.
Will it cost me anything?
This project is supported by limited grant funding. If you are able to make a voluntary donation of any size, this would be most welcome and will help to fund the next programme. No one will be excluded who cannot afford or who does not wish to make a contribution.
How do I get involved?
Contact Andy (firstname.lastname@example.org) for Further Details and an application form, or call him for an informal chat about what’s entailed on 07584 253 441
